The LDAP admin account and password
The LDAP server can be administrated using the account
cn=admin,dc=ps,dc=uni-saarland,dc=de
Its password is stored in the LDAP database. It can be changed using ldappasswd as follows:
ldappasswd -x -s $NEWPASSWD -a $OLDPASSWD -w $OLDPASSWD -D cn=admin,dc=ps,dc=uni-saarland,dc=de cn=admin,dc=ps,dc=uni-saarland,dc=de
After changing the password, several places must be adjusted accordingly:
/etc/gosa/gosa.conf (pay attention to the file permissions after changing the password!)
/etc/ldappass
smbpasswd -w $NEWPASSWD
/root/scripts/connect.php
Frontend
There's is a frontend called phpldapadmin which is available via
https://ps.uni-saarland.de/phpldapadmin/
If you want to change the content of the sysads group, this is an LDAP group not accesible via Gosa and only via phpldapadmin.
Access exclusivly from inside the ps.uni-saarland.de network!
