Redmine
The lab uses a Redmine Web Application to manage Projects. When logging in for the first time, a redmine account corresponding to the lab account is automatically created. To use version control with Git you habve to upload the SSH public keys of your machines (See "My account")
User Management
The user management of the Redmine is fairly simplitic. It distinguishes the follwing roles:
Manager: This role has full access to everything and is required to create projects. Only Members of the lab should be Managers. This is a global Role (someone who is manager of some project is Manager everywhere).
- Developer: Someone with the rights to use version control, edit the project wiki, etc. This role is for students and anyone else part of a given project.
- Reporter: Someone with limited access to a project. May not commit or edit wiki pages.
