Update Checklist

Check the following things after every update:

ofc / james

• kernel versions of ofc and james match

• https://ps.uni-saarland.de is accessible

• if mail related services were updated (exim4, cyrus) send test mail to other sysadmin

hyperion / courses

• verify that shorewall runs after reboot (ssh to hyperion and courses should only be possible from within the university network)

redmine

• Verify that shorewall is running

• Verify that https://redmine.ps.uni-saarland.de is accessible

• If git was updated, check that cloning and pulling still work. If not, do "find / -user gitolite3" and change these to "git:git"

discourse

• verify that shorewall is running

• [[https://prog1_ws18.discourse.ps.uni-saarland.de] is accessible. If not, see discourse page

• https://sosml.discourse.ps.uni-saarland.de is accessible. If not, run "tmux-start-sosml" as admin in admins home directory
